        Hello

        Connect to pfsense via SSH
        and type service redis onestart

        restart ntopng via pfsense GUI , it should work now

        Best regards from France

          Hi there, I have same problem

          Tried your solution, but after service redis onestart I receive

          Dec 17 13:10:22	admin /usr/local/etc/rc.d/redis: WARNING: failed to start redis

          and ntopng won't start with same error

          Dec 17 13:11:02	ntopng [Redis.cpp:81] ERROR: to specify a redis server other than the default
          Dec 17 13:11:02	ntopng [Redis.cpp:80] ERROR: Please start it and try again or use -r
          Dec 17 13:11:02	ntopng [Redis.cpp:79] ERROR: ntopng requires redis server to be up and running

          Also i used redis itself recommendations after instal and put redis_enable="YES" into /etc/rc.conf.local

          Message from redis-3.2.4:
          ===>  CONFIGURATION NOTE:

                To setup "redis" you need to edit the configuration file:
                /usr/local/etc/redis.conf

                To run redis from startup, add redis_enable="YES"
                in your /etc/rc.conf.
          >>> Cleaning up cache... done.

          I would appriciate any help, thanks

            redis-server /usr/local/etc/redis.conf

            Actually worked, but i wonder why ntopng can't start it right way ???
