Question about using two pfsense boxes one as simply a wifi network repeater

So I'm having issues with wifi reception in my house and currently have a pfsense box managing my network as a router and firewall but it is on one side of the house where the internet comes in and it can't move to a central location. I have used a brand name wifi repeater but it creates another network name and new signal for example my pfsense wifi network is named "The Happy Fun Router" but the repeater picks it up and rebroadcasts it as "The Happy Fun Router Ext" so it is two different networks. What I want to do is have one network "The Happy Fun Router" broadcast from the original router spot but also have something rebroadcasting it in the far side of the house under the same name and devices pass between the two broadcast stations seamlessly. I have Ethernet runs to the other side of the house and was wondering if i could put together another computer with another wifi card and hook it up through the Ethernet run from the original router and rebroadcast the same network. Any help would be appreciated. Please ask if i need to clarify anything.

You have a WiFi problem not a pfSense problem. Another firewall is not what you need.
You should be able to get an access point like a UAP-AC-Lite, connect it to your LAN, and give it the same SSID and WPA passphrase and be good to go.
If using 2.4GHz, you have three channels to choose from. 1, 6, and 11. If pfSense is on 1, put the AP on 6 or 11.
Make sure they are on separate 5GHz channels taking into account 40MHz (+ or -) or higher channel width.
