      hi, we are a college.  we want each username to only be able to register 5 pass through mac addresses. also, how can we automatically expire pass through registrations?  such as once per every 6 months.

        As far as I know, pfSense's captive portal is either one mac per login or "unlimited."  It would be AWESOME to be able to set a limit, having the oldest kicked off when the limit is exceeded.

        You might have a look at solutionip or antlabs. Neither is free.

          You can use freeradius/radius solution with pfsense to implement such a thing.
