Known Working APs for pfSense

I'm currently running pfSense on an Alix 2D2 board, and would like to install a wireless access point, but I'm not too sure which brand is known to work with this board. I currently have the http://www.unex.com.tw/product/dnma-92 but, as of recent, it has been force rebooting the board, and won't allow it to boot. Narrowed it down to one task that it was trying to complete that halted (ath0). So after spending money on the PCI-E card, antennas, and connectors, I've decided to take it out of the box. But now I have no wireless access in the house.
I was looking into the Ubiquiti Unifi AP-PRO, which after reading a few forums online stated that the software was able to be installed on pfSense, seems a bit tricky.
Does anyone know of a good AP that I can connect directly to my DLink DGS-1100-08 managed switch.
Note*: I also tried plugging in my Netgear router and setting it to AP mode, but it caused IP conflicts on my network, as it used the same subnet as my switch.

Turn off DHCP on the Netgear.

I don't know of any modern wireless router that cannot be configured as an "access point".

I have great experiences with Ubiquity WAP's. Recommended to me by an Admin of this board. Plug them into your switch and you're done. They support VLAN, Radius (enterprise) and have great coverage (my neigbors hate me for my WAP's since they can't have signal when my WAP's are on. They are calling the police to complain about 'NASA WIFI point 1-3' ;D ).

Even if they can not be configured that way you can always plug the upstream cable to the LAN side of the router instead of the WAN port and assign a static non-interfering address to the WAN interface. This way the router becomes a simple access point that bridges the wireless network to the wired LAN ports.

-meraki mr16
-dlink 1522
-cisco 4200v1 with DHCP disabled connected to the LAN port
-WD mynet 900 with DHCP disabled connected to the LAN port
