        Because I have notifications by email turned on, I'm being flooded by these messages, hundred times a day:

            Are you attempting to sync from one pfSense version to a different pfSense version? Ie. Sync from 2.3.x -> 2.4.x or vice-versa?

            If so, I believe that they are incompatible to sync due to changes in XMLRPC function changes in the code.

              No, I just created a totally new VM in ESXi and installed 2.4 from the ISO. No Sync configured nor activated at all.

              After logged in the Web Configurator as admin, password pfsense and restored the last configuration from my production firewall VM v2.3.2-RELEASE-p1.

              I had the following packages installed in the 2.3 VM, so with the Restore in the new VM with the BETA 2.4 pfSense, they are all reinstalled after the reboot:

              Avahi
              Backup
              Cron
              mtr-nox11
              Open-VM-Tools
              pfBlockerNG
              Service_Watchdog
              Shellcmd
              squid
              squidGuard
              System_Patches

                Multiple of those packages have XMLRPC features. Turn them off.

                  I've checket all the XMLRPC/Sync options in the packages (I've found them in squid, squidGuard) and all are configured as "Do not sync this package configuration" and I've clicked Save just to be sure!

                  UPDATE: I've found a Sync config in pfBlockerNG to another pfSense of mine, but version 2.3.2-RELEASE-p1, so I turned it off!

                  So the notifications stopped! Thank you!
