          There are no known security issues, I'd guess. Otherwise the team wouldn't consider it being available for public testing.
          On the other hand there might be some glitches that need to be found before an official release.
          If you find one then report it on redmine.pfsense.org!

            If all known problems were fixed it would be released, not beta. Nobody can recommend you use it in your production environment because nobody but you knows anything about your production environment.

            It is up to you to test it and personally deem it suitable.

                What about a list of all unknown issues?  ;-)

                  @JKnott:

                  Monday? You don't release right before the weekend.
                  Now the team has time to build the release version and distribute it to the mirrors, write release notes, blogs, preparing for a release next week.

                  Was looking at 2.3.3 release not 2.4

                    OK, I won't bother with the beta version then.  I can wait a few days.

                      Hold it, that's just my guess after watching this https://redmine.pfsense.org/projects/pfsense/issues?query_id=75 and the calender.

                        Are you by chance referring to 2.3.3? 2.4 has been at 68% for awhile now.

                          Shit, you're right. Was reading the post above which said  …using 2.3.3 beta...
                          2.4 is still a way to go.
