      Hi all,
      I'm testing Captive Portal function but I dont understand how the user autenticated can navigate through the firewall.

      Ex, if user Jhon make the autentication on captive portal than what rule he match to manage the traffic?

      Thanks

        The rules on the interface running the portal (e.g. LAN) govern all users on that interface. There isn't currently a way to match a rule with a CP user.

          Hi,
          @eyp:

          I think a better answer is possible  ;)

          If your captive portal is being called "zone1" (visible on the Status => Captive Portal page) then this command:
          ipfw -x zone1 table all list
          will list the tables with all permitted users.
          Table 1 and 2 contain the IP and MAC of every authenticated captive portal user .

          Edit : and where are the logs ??
