      Gent's

I have a problem with one of my pfSense boxes , well only the update part.

      I have 2 Qotom Core i5's running 2.4.0-Beta

One box is detecting new updates fine , it's a remote box that i will upgrade when onsite.

The other i have @Home , and it stopped detecting new updates , after i updated it last friday the 18'th Aug.
I have no problems with the box, and it's working fine. But it doesn't seem to detect the latest updates anymore.

Doing a ssh admin@pfsense & select opt 13 (upgrade from console) , returns errors

      Enter an option: 13

It seems like it lost track of all installed packages too, and no packkages are available.

      Edit:

      Files in /root/var/db/pkg :

Any hints on how to fix the broken one ?
Would really prefer not to reinstall it.

      TIA

        Seems to be solved

I switched to the devel repos , and saved.
Then i switched back to the stable repos , and saved.

No updates or anything , just switch & save.

Now i get this on my previous "Bad box"

        Wonder what happened ??

A diff of the new (ok) config.xml , and the previous (bad)
Shows that this has been added to the (ok) config.

        		 <gitsync><branch></branch></gitsync>
        		<pkg_repo_conf_path>/usr/local/share/pfSense/pkg/repos/pfSense-repo.conf</pkg_repo_conf_path>

And my installed packages & available packages are back too  ;D

        /Bingo
