Looking through the guides I've almost got this setup sorted, but one question remains

How do I tell the frontend on HAProxy to use a new certificate generated by ACME? does this update automatically do I need a new script?

No offense, but it's written in the ACME package GUI right under Actions list.  ::)

          None taken I assure you.

My confusion has come from the fact that on my windows server when a new certificate is generated I end up with many certificates on the server. Are you saying that this isn't the case on pfSense and it'll just use the renewed certificate automatically?

If so, that's great and I'm sorry for wasting your time

It renews the certificate, it does not create more or duplicates.

Use the example command for haproxy, and be sure to enable the cron job on the first tab.
