So I've been able to use my openvpn server for some time, but never really ran into an issue since I was always doing it from my mobile phone.  Now using Internet at a few Airbnb's while traveling, I cannot access my local servers when connected.

I'm speculating that this is because my home network is 192.168.1.1 and the networks where I'm connecting from are the same… is there a setting I can enable within Pfsense to get around this?  or do I need to change my home network to something completely random to limit this from happening in the future.

      Cheers,

      M.

Change your home network to 172.16.50.xxx or something else in private address range.

I gloomily came to the ironic conclusion that if you take a highly intelligent person and give them the best possible, elite education, then you will most likely wind up with an academic who is completely impervious to reality.
