                On 2.4.2.a.20171107.0939 i can't see dpinger packages.

                  It's not a package. Just a binary that's shipped as part of pfSense.

                      Triggering snowflakes one by one..

                        dpinger will show in the pkg data in the shell, but it doesn't show the version in the GUI.
