How do I get private key for CA?

I have a Positive SSL certificate from Comodo which I have installed as a certificate, but I’m struggling with getting Commodo installed as a CA. I have the intermediate package from Comodo but not sure how to get the private key? It’s my understanding that this key was generated with the CSR but I’m not sure how to retrieve it from my system?

You can't get the private key for a public CA like that and you don't need it.
You only need the private key for your own certificate, which should be with the CSR you made and submitted to the CA.

So I should paste the private key for my certificate into the KEY field for the CA?
How would I retrieve that?
