Squid and Spotify complaining on TCP 4070
-
Hello,
I am seeing quite some logging around Spotify behing my Pfsense 2.4.2p1 and Squid3.5.27:
Date IP Status Address User Destination 06.02.2018 17:40:47 10.0.0.10 TCP_MISS/206 http://audio-sp-lhr.spotify.com/audio/c9bc81393d5090017cace01e3509751560266b8a? - 193.182.10.113 06.02.2018 17:40:47 10.0.0.10 TCP_MISS/206 http://audio-sp-lhr.spotify.com/audio/c9bc81393d5090017cace01e3509751560266b8a? - 193.182.10.113 06.02.2018 17:40:46 10.0.0.10 TCP_MISS/206 http://audio-sp-lhr.spotify.com/audio/c9bc81393d5090017cace01e3509751560266b8a? - 193.182.10.113
I didn't find much on what was the issue

Merci

Those are just cache miss messages. Anything that ends in a ? is considered a dynamic URL and won't be cached unless you have written some refresh pattern rules to somehow handle it. You're going to get a TCP_MISS for any request that isn't already in your cache.
Are you having an actual problem or are you just asking about log messages?

Thanks Kom. No no real issues, I was just surprised to see that much of these messages in the logs.
Maybe I will turn off the logs then and just reactivate them one day if I have issues :)

Bad idea. When you really need them, they won't be there. Just set them to rotate and ignore them.
