      Hi,

I am using one Pfsense box and wanted to use with two different CP
      The problem is,

The Internet is not getting on VLAN even after setting rules, DHCP works fine
2nd CP page is not showing @ all
what will be the location of 2nd CP page?

      Thanks,

        Hi,

Break the problem in 2 - or more sub steps.

Like : first : make VLAN working.

Then : Activate a CP on it.

Edit : and where are the logs ??

          VLAN 50

          Working

YES But only giving DHCP release no internet over client-side even after setting up rules

States Protocol Source Port Destination Port Gateway Queue Schedule Description Actions

          IPv4 * VLAN50 net * * * * none     *      *

          2nd

if I enable CP on the VLAN 50, It's not showing any page @ all

            @usman.afzal159:

If you interface is called VLAN50, then this PASS rule is very needed - without it, everything stops
(well, some hidden rules do accept DHCP traffic)
            See image.
The counter in front of the rules indicates that traffic is actually flowing in - using and hitting this rule.

When hooking up an equipment like a smart switch or AP that "decodes" that VLAN (id 50) a device should work == having Internet access.

            .
Try for yourself : switch both interfaces (the LAN and VLAN50) among the two Captive portal instances. I bet the working portal right now stops working (because it will be on your VLAN50).
The not-working CP will work just fine on LAN.

              Got that point,
But why CP is working fine means redirecting and not working on VLAN 50 (only showing redirected IP address)

              2nd

where should be CP page store for VLAN 50 ?
