I just want a followup on Pfsense developers if there is an update fix on Apollo Lake issue? I am still on current and wanted to upgrade to 2.4.

As far as I'm aware, that is a FreeBSD problem that needs to be addressed with them. Once they have a fix, we can look into including the patches in a pfSense release. More likely, they will automatically be included once the FreeBSD fix makes it into the release branch we use.

I check FreeBSD website about the bug and it seems there was some modification done several days ago.

its currently in bsd master branch.
pfsense tracks releng & stable if needed.

once it gets in either of those branches, it'll be picked up for snapshotting

this is the one on freebsd repo
                  https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd/search?q=If+the+workaround+is+activated%2C+always+send+IPI+for+wake+up&type=Commits

the same search on pfsense results in empty. when its there, it'll probably be on its way to a development snapshot.

2.4.4-RELEASE, when that happens in a couple months. It is on 11-STABLE at the moment but will eventually move to 11.2 before release.

Snapshots are running 11-STABLE so you can try a 2.4.4 snapshot on that hardware to see how it performs.
