Invalid email when registering
-
 My main domain TLD is .INFO but when I tried to register I got an invalid email address error. There a now TLD much longer than .INFO now... Maybe someone have to review the validation function of the forum! Regards

 There must have been some other problem with your input. I attempted to register using a bogus .infoaddress just now and it was accepted without error.

 Oh my bad, maybe I made a typo and failed the validation an other way. I'm so used to have my email rejected because of my TLD. Sorry for the inconvenience.

 No worries, if I could reproduce it I was going to open up a bug report with the NodeBB folks so they could fix it upstream. We don't have any controls in the Admin settings for e-mail validation that I can see.

 @frallard said in Invalid email when registering: Iām so used to have my email rejected because of my TLD Huh? .info is a valid tld.. Why would it be rejected? Do you mean because of its lenght 4 vs the common old style 3 .com .org .net etc..

 @johnpoz
 Probably yes, because the last part after the "." is more than 3 character long. I don't have that problem with a lot of sites, but some big company like one of my old cell phone member portal didn't like the .infoSo when I tried to register to the forum and I got an invalid email address I didn't look further and used my .com alias instead.
