Latest snapshot images don't seem valid

Rufus gives error that image is unrecognised. dd to a disk results in un-bootable disk. Have tried both 25th June and 20th June images with same results. 2.4.3 images work fine with same methods. Any insight?

Which exact image are you using (full filename)?

pfSense-CE-memstick-2.4.4-DEVELOPMENT-amd64-20180625-0608.img is one example.

Still happening with the latest. Has anyone else tried using the snapshot images?

I have never had any success with the USB image and installing. I burn a disk and then boot from an external USB DVD drive as I was sick of seeing the same thing you are.
-
I use Win32 Disk Imager and do not have any problems..

Tried that one without success. Are you referring to a memstick development snapshot from the past few weeks? They're the ones that don't work for me. They used to work and 2.4.3 works.

@bradsm87 we’ve moved to the hybrid image discussed here:

I haven't tried on other hardware or a VM but it does not even get recognised on 2 different models of Qotom systems set up for UEFI only booting when this img file is DDd to a USB drive. 2.4.3 non-hybrid image works fine.
This hybrid image might not be a great idea for 2.4.4 release if it has compatibility issues.
