I cant access our pfsense webGUI

      tried these:
http://192.168.0.2:8081 - this is our default port in used
      http://192.168.0.2
      https://192.168.0.2

But I got connection timed out. How do I check if the services (like nginx, lighttpd) relating to pfsense webgui are running?

      Thank you.

Connect to the console (by serial, USB, ssh, what-have-you), access the shell and "top" will tell you if it's running.
You can also try to "Restart webConfigurator" from console menu.

@jahonix actually, I already tried that option. I also done restarting the pfsense. But here is the twist, I accidentally deleted the sbin in /usr/local

Idk if this has something to do with webGUI. After deleting this, it is still accessible until I changed the port 8081 to port 81. I've also done changing it back to 8081 thru config file (because webgui is not available).

How could you do that accidentally is beyond me - but your going to want to just reinstall pfsense. And either restore from your backup or start from scratch.. Stick to the gui next time ;)
