my pfsense has private adress IP
-
Hello,
I have F660 modem of fibre internet
after this modem I have my pfsense has:
wan adress ip: 192.168.1.44/24 (it is private ip not routable)
lan adress ip: 10.0.0.1/8
after this pfsense I have my windows server 2012 r2 ( adress ip 10.0.0.20/8)
and after that My LAN that all machines have 10.0.0.X/8On my windows server I should have a port 3389 open to have a remote acces to server from my home. (I don't like to install vpn, I will do it later but now I want just open port 3389)
So how can I open this port and I have A private IP WAN on my pfsense.
I'm a beginner in pfsense

You need port forward on the upstream device (F660) as it's not in bridge mode.
Which is exactly why in your previous posts I suggested putting the device in bridge mode.
-
@nogbadthebad how can I know if my divice on the bridge mode or not?
-
Try posting on your ISP forum, the ZTE forum or better still talk to your ISP.
Or maybe replace the F660 with something else, your ISP should be able to advise.
This isn't anything to do with pfSense.

@nogbadthebad I want set my divice like I find it, I want find my solution to my actual situation explainging on this post, I let my divice like I find It, and get solution to open access to my sevrver from my home, if it possibile, can I add a dmz host on my divice like:
and by this way I open wan ip adress (192.168.1.44) of my pfsense on the internet and all have acces to it and I can open and close any port that I want
is it a solution ? -
That should work.
Now you need to port forward on pfSense.
-
@nogbadthebad ookey and on pfsense what adresse that I should set up on port forwarding?
-
https://www.netgate.com/docs/pfsense/nat/forwarding-ports-with-pfsense.html
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2XaZxgms5A << its a slightly older version of pfSense but NAT AKA port forwarding is the same.
-
@nogbadthebad ok so in Redirect target IP I fill in the ip adress of my windows server 2012 10.0.0.20 , is it correct?

yup
