VPN Access
-
Hi guys, I am an (extreme) novice when it comes to networking and pfsense in general. Trying to soak up as much as I can. I have a couple of questions. I was able to get everything set up for my home network. I was also able to get OpenVPN set up so I could establish a connection through my home network from remote. However, one thing I dont quite understand is how to access my "original" (for lack of a better term) LAN from the tunnel LAN I set up for VPN access. My VPN gets assigned an IP in the 10.X.X.X range while my home LAN is in the 192.168.X.X range. I am not able to get to any of my machines on the 192.X.X.X LAN. I'm guessing there is some fairly straight forward rule I need to get set up, but I can't figure it out.
Any help would be appreciated.

check VPN -> OpenVPN -> Server under Tunnel Settings
check that IPv4 is your 10.x.x.x/24 <-- it's your tunnel IP
and that IPv4 Local Network is your 192.168.x.x/24 <-- it's your actual LANshould be something like
10.0.0.0/24
and
192.168.1.0/24save, apply changes and to make sure, reboot pfsense or at least clear the states

@deadpool Thanks for the reply. It turns out I had typed "192.168.1.1/24" instead of "192.168.1.0/24". I corrected that and it is working now.
