    As the title says…

Is this a firewall rules issue I have been overlooking? The machines are all added to Services >> WOL and the correct MAC addresses and corresponding IP addresses are listed in the ARP table.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I think Wake On Lan (WOL) is abit of a mess in 2.2

I initially blow off the "malfunction" reports until I see them either in volume or see them myself.

In this case I've seen both.  Lots of people reported WOL broken and I have a system showing the same issue.

It used to reliably wake any computer on the lan in 2.15 but 2.2 wakes nothing.

(Full install / 64 bit.  Intel NICs pfsense 2.2)

If you have something different, file a bug.

I will double and triple check it again before I do.  But yeah - seems busted right now.

(Strange - reboot and its working now)

My apinger is still all over the place, but the WOL seems to be working for now again.

I first noticed it after the 2.2 upgrade : WOL wasn't working anymore with any of the usual targets  :-\

I use a WOL standalone client just to check that it wasn't anything in the network backbone that was messing up with the magic packets, but it worked fine.

I hope the WOL feature will be fixed for the next release  :)
