      i am using frr pfsense +ipv6. the PF version too old only v3.0.3

          pfsense v2.4.3_1 's the frr version is v3.0.3 too old

          frr new version should is 5.0.1

              I forked this topic because you hijacked the old one to complain about the version.

              FRR on 2.4.3 was stuck at 3.0.x because FRR 4.x and 5.x crashed on FreeBSD. 5.0.1 is fixed and coming with pfSense 2.4.4.

              : cat /etc/version; pkg info -x frr
              2.4.4-DEVELOPMENT
              frr5-5.0.1
              pfSense-pkg-frr-0.2_3

                thanks! i am new know 2.4.4 has frr 5.0.1. the pf2.4.4 still has some issue for me, so i have to reback pf2.4.3 now.

                  when i use shell vtysh command often hasppen:

                  show bgp summary
                  Warning: closing connection to bgpd because of an I/O error!

                    If FRR restarts while you are in vtysh, it will lose its connection. Don't sit in vtysh any longer than you need to. It isn't meant to be used that way on pfSense.

                      So how do I use the manual editing configuration? Because the webGUI function is not perfect?

                        There are boxes in the GUI in each section to apply a manual configuration.

                          i have no find it in webgui, only it has Detailed FRR Configuration Status.

                              i have been config disable ipv6 ip for v4 bgp, but it is still show up, no show ipv6 bgp up.
