        Yes I have the same issue...I tried deleting from Service Watchdog and re-adding and that didn't work. Tried restarting that didn't work. Also tried a reboot that didn't either....

                    Also the same here after updating to pfSense 2.4.4 today.

                    Do I need to check the pfSense Development branch to get the _17 update as soon as possible?

                      It's only a cosmetically bug, pfBlockerNG is still working fine. See here: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/133982/pfblockerng-devel-feedback/49

                        Good to know, will check later. At least the Service Watchdog is fooled as well, I needed to remove the pfb for now

                          Getting the same Problem as above I did mange to get it to restart but will not say started on the Service page.
                          on Pfsense Ver:2.4.4. PfBlockerNG-devel is Ver: 2.2.5_16. Also keeps showing I have a update available but does noting after I update it.

                          @BBcan177 confirmed Fixed in 2.2.5_17

                            updated to _17 no problem. Had to disable pfBlockerNG briefly and when restarted cannot get pfb_dnsbl to start.

                              @oodsway what error are you getting in system logs ? Did you try a restart of the hole system ?

                                Just came back up from reboot and it is running now. Didn't check logs. What do you want to see & I'll post.

                                  just to see if it was a error or if there was a problem with the update no need now.
