      Hi,
This morning, I wanted to install the ACME package over the pfSense package manager. During the process, it apparently started to un-install all php-packages!!!
Now the Web UI is scrapped and I cannot log in anymore because of missing php packages!!!!
Any ideas anyone how to solve this?
      Thanks // Tom

Note: I found all packages it wanted to install, under /var/cache/pkg.
It's about 143 packages ... most of them php stuff etc...

Would it help trying to manually install all of those packages?
If yes, how would I do this?

        Thanks, guys!
        Tom

I still can log-in via SSH, but get some PHP WARNINGS about not finding xml.so and zlib.so.

What shall I do now? Would an "update from console" help? Or shall I try to manually install all software packages I find under /var/cache/pkg?

              Thanks a lot!!

You should have updated to 2.4.4 first, never install current packages into an outdated base system. Try this: https://www.netgate.com/docs/pfsense/install/upgrade-troubleshooting.html#forced-pkg-reinstall or do a fresh install of 2.4.4.

@grimson: Thanks ... this sounds weird, though. 2.4.3 is not so old ... and I was not expecting this. In any case it happened. I'll try to follow the link you've provided.

                  Thanks again // Tom

It worked. Thanks @Grimson .... The WebGUI is up again. The only difference now is that after logging in via SSH, I'm directly at the command prompt '#' and the menu does not appear, like before. Any idea what could cause this?
