Have pfsense interface opt4 configured as 10.10.10.1/24 connected to layer3 switch interface that is 10.10.10.2/24. Created gateway for interface OPT4 and gateway IP is 10.10.10.2 (Switch IP). Have created static route for 192.168.3.0/24 that is using that gateway. Cannot ping across to the 192.168.3.0 network. What am I missing?

Are you pinging from the firewall or something else behind pfSense?

Does the target device in 192.168.3.x allow ping from 10.10.10.x?

/24 is a freaking huge transit network..

With jimp here - look to the firewall on 192.168.3 device... Windows for example out of the box not going to answer ping from IP not on its local network.

Is the switch's default gateway pfSense?
