Is there a way to setup my Pfsense and Freenas to only connect to my VPN Vlan for torrent downloads? I would like to have Freenas on my LAN access but only have the torrent downloads to go through the VPN.
I already have my Vlan's setup and working, just not sure how or if is possible to do.

That would be a function of FreeNAS to use a different VLAN interface for torrent downloads.

OK but that is not what you asked for. If you can identify the Bit torrent traffic you can policy route it any way you like.

But if you want it placed on a different VLAN interface, that would be up to FreeNAS.

Or you can just have ALL your freenas traffic go over the vpn.. Problems are p2p ports are going to be pretty much anything.. So you could have freenas use your wan for say 80/443 traffic to known sites like checking for updates, browsing the web.

And tunnel all its other traffic over a vpn.
