      Wife’s complaining that she cannot get onto any shopping sites! I have enabled pfblockerng and this is now blocking her shopping. I have created a whitelist alias, however it is not clear where I enable this rule. Or is there a simpler place to put this. Would be most grateful if someone could show the steps.

      Regards,

      Mike

        Go to Reports or Alerts Tab and you can see what is blocked by DNSBL.
        From there you can can use the "+" icon to whitelist blocked Domains.

        This will add the domain to the DNSBL Whitelist as well as the CNAME for the Domain in question. It will update the Unbound db to whitelist the Domain names.

        In you case www.googleadservices.com has a CNAME : pagead.l.doubleclick.net

        When you put a Domain in the DNSBL Whitelist and save the settings, you have to run a Force Reload DNSBL for the change to take effect. If you don't Reload, it will pick the change at Cron Update the next time the Table containing the Domain is downloaded.

            @mikeelawson did you end up just whitelisting www.googleadservices.com to fix your issue?

              @clokwork

              I just did just this at the weekend after recently installing pfBlocker as I found it was preventing visitors reaching sites via Google search.

              googleadservices.com # For Google search links
              www.googleadservices.com # For Google search links
