Router Loging Problems - IP Redirecting to Cyberroam.
-
Hi,
I have already gone through some similar threads but it doesn't seem to work for me. So whenever I try to connect remotely to the PFSense router, it gest redirected to a Cyberoam login page. I am also not able to access the the login IP (192.168.15.1) which I previously used to.
How do I fix this? Anyone else had this before?
Regards,

So your connected to what network exactly? Sounds like to me your connected to some other persons network - maybe the wifi across the street and when you hit the gateway IP your hitting their router. https://www.cyberoam.com/
This is SOPHOS branded firewall/UTM...
Do you use sophos on your network? Have another appliance? if not then your prob connected to some other wifi and not your own... Seen it happen more often then you would think ;)
Can not print - well your on your neighbors wifi network.. Since you both thought it was a good idea to use the same SSID and default password ;)

No Sir, I am no way using my neighbor's WiFi
But whenever I try to connect to my router, it redirects me to Cyberoam and as for login credentials.

Browser cache?
Did you try another Browser or private tab?-Rico
-
And how could it do that if you DONT have one of their appliances??
-
@johnpoz That is what irritating me. I think the IP is redirecting me to the Cyberroam website. Might be any extension or adware problem?
-
Did you try to use the different IP address such as 192.168.0.1. May be you're using wrong IP address & that's why it's showing not opening. Try to change IP address to some most common private IP address such as 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
-
did you create a port forward?
Lets see a screenshot!
-
@johnpoz I am sorry, I didn't get you. What do I have to do again?

A screenshot from:-
Firewall -> NAT -> Port Forward

also a screenshot of what your seeing in your browser showing the IP with what your seeing.

@nogbadthebad said in Router Loging Problems - IP Redirecting to Cyberroam.:
Firewall -> NAT -> Port Forward
I don't think I have enabled any Port Forwarding on my PC. I am also using this routerlogin website for reference.

The How and the F would it be fowarding you to this website..
If you put in 192.168.1.1 into your browser this is no way possible for it to take you to some outside website, or hit a cyberroam interface locally unless you have that appliance on your network.
Show us the interface your seeing in your browser when you go to this IP that is suppose to be your pfsense box.
Your browser is not using a proxy is it? Show us the web page your hitting with the address bar being shown.
-
Using that site as reference for what?? So your trying to get that site to log you into your router? Or your using 192.168.15.1 try and access your router? You changed your pfsense lan IP to 15.1? Your running some other wireless router along with pfsense?
What is the Make and Model of your router? Maybe its a freaking cyberroam device..

Hi,
@johnpoz I have the SG-1100. And maybe the whole problem is maybe due to the Cyberroam extension that is installed on my Browser.
I have disabled it and it seems to work normally (FOR NOW).
