Find links to msg in a tread from old forum

When clicking on a link to an old msg in a thread it just goes to the 1st message in the thread and not the message referenced. I think this is a result of the new forum software. Is there a way to translate an old message number in the new forum software?

Not exactly. We have all the mappings in place to redirect to the new threads but the individual post numbers are not always redirecting as expected.
Unless the thread is huge it's not a big deal, though.

Sure that is a huge thread but the info is all old. It's also a great example of threads that should have been split up years ago.
I don't see us spending any time trying to get the individual msg URL redirects to work beyond what already works. You can use the search function to locate specific posts in the thread.
