Hello there, I need your help please,
Pfsesne captive portal works with LAN but it does not work with WAN,
when I try to navigate to a local address like 192.168.10.10 it works and I get the captive portal page,
But when I try to navigate to something like google.com it just keeps loading!
< and even if I am logged in to the captive portal, still cannot use WAN and cannot browse the internet! any help please!

Dont configure a CP on WAN or LAN.

You should use a OPT interface.

Have you set your pfSense to act as DNS proxy/forwarder and are your clients using the pfSense's LAN address as their primary DNS? Unless your clients can resolve external addresses you won't be redirected to the CP landing page.
