my network has one wan and one lan
the aime is to use it on a wifi hotspot
lets says that i can't see it being any more than 100 users ( not at once)

i mainly want to block adault content and block torrents

i've currently blocked ports to try and stop torrents

You can probably accomplish alot of what you want using a DNS service.

well - there are services out there like opendns or dyndns etc etc that can be used with your pfsense to filter out DNS replies for sites you don't like by category.

Its the least intrusive least broken way.

Snort can block torrents, and perhaps pfBlockerNG from the great BB might be of use to you too.

6 and a half billion people know that they are stupid, agressive, lower life forms.
