      I recently started with pfsense and can not see the wireless card in the interface menu how do i install drivers and which driver do i need?

        There is no FreeBSD driver for that chipset currently. It cannot be made to work in pfSense. ☹

              Indeed. Get an Atheros based 802.11n card if you really want wifi in the pfSense box.

                  Buy a ubiquity AP, FreeBSD Wi-Fi support isn't the best.

                    Yeah, an external access point is better in a number of ways.

                    I am using this card though in one box:

                    That's about the best you're going to get with the current driver support in FreeBSD IMO.

                    There are a number if cards you can get with the AR9380 chipset.
