No matter what the actual link speed is, an up/up interface always reports being linked at "Link up, 10 Mbit/sec, full duplex" when running "show interfaces". This is on 10G copper and SFP+ 10G connections.

Connecting a 10G copper to a 1G port shows "Link up, unknown, full duplex".

So it shows 10G on 10G and unknown on 1G?

What hardware are you running on? What NICs? What modules?

Neg, it shows 10Mbit when linked at 10G. Same for 10000Base-T or SFP+.

            "Unknown" for 1G.

TNSR running as VM on ESXi 6.7 with PCI Passthrough (not SR-IOV) from a Supermicro X11SDV-4C-TP8F mainboard.

There were issues with link speed reporting from the dataplane, which are fixed in the current development version of TNSR, due to be released next month.
