Removing Pass-Through MACs

Dear All,

i am running pfsense 2.4.2, i do setting that one voucher work on only same one device. sometime customer changes device and he request to put card in new device this is problem i have to login go to services ->Captive Portal ->MAC and than find and remove the old mac and than he can put the voucher in his new device.

i want help to design page where i just put the voucher and press remove button and it automatically remove the mac from server so that user can put in new device

First thing I would do is update to current 2.4.2 is unsupported release.

1st thing my requirement is force vouchers to work always on same device which is not possible in later update from 2.4.3
2nd thing we can't restore active card in case of system crash in latest version after 2.4.3

so i want to go with 2.4.2 actually working well with my case. just help to do removing mac

And why is that?

Is a something that should not be possible, is there a bug report for the problem, has the feature be deprecated and no longer supported?

Not sure why anyone would help you do anything on a version that is no longer supported.. But good luck..

@johnpoz i dont know i report as bug but they its a function voucher by default work on all devices.
the behavior changes in later updates even i do the same configuration.
there is also my post one voucher per device we have to modify some files to get this functionality back so leave it.
just help to remove mac automatically by entering the voucher

I don't get it : such a page already exists, it lists all the registered MAC's, and you can remove them easily.

Add to that : developing on 2.4.2 means : you are the only one.

You might consider detailing it all out, and put up a feature request, but developers will look at it if the feature is useful for many users. You'll be needing the latest version of course.

Yep, there is a fix for this, it works very well - see my solution (replace 2 files). Needs the latest pfSense version of course.

@ishtiaqaj as everyone said, 2.2.X is end of life, no support will be provided anymore for this version.

That includes forum support.
