Things seem weird since Netgate took over.
lolwut? What a silly thing to say.
LOL, it may seem so KOM; however, I never experience that when the forum was under pfSense.org. I had experienced that both yesterday and earlier today...may be that's why a screen shot posted in another section of the forum (WebGUI) would not appear.

Netgate "taking over", whatever that even means, has nothing to do with the state of the forum software. The old forum was outdated and not GDPR compliant. This forum gets a LOT of spam postings that would flood the boards if not for the anti-spam measures. Those measures are most effective with users with less than 5 reputation.

Write something nice so we can add some reps.
I can't upvote rubbish postings.-Rico

Sometimes I wish we could downvote some posts

Okay; however, I never join forums for reputation...it's for solving problems for either others or myself. I have never seen the back office of forums to see all the spam issues. I am on several forum and have never posted any spam anywhere. Most forum limit posting pictures until a certain amount reached.

The filter has heuristics that flag things like if you post a lot of topics in a short time etc. Only applies to members with less than 5 rep which weeds out the new accounts that spambots create. Here, now you have 5.

Thank you KOM, you made my day!

@KOM I thought you fixed it. Tried to post to Install section image was too large so I had to reduce the size, then edit and post flagged for spam...I don't need reputation or begging it either...I need to solve a install problem on a Mac Mini.

One more ^^
Your rep is 5 now - that should take care of things.

Strange. It was already at five after I bumped him several days ago.

You don't want to. It's a f**king mess. And without anti-spam measures you'd simply drown in the flood of bullshit-crossposting-bots that only want to advertise some BS links in their texts or signature. That's why all posts below a certain rep-rating are now looked at very closely (esp. below 5-10) as those bots simply come, post their BS and leave (mostly with less than 5 posts).
Also logging in from addresses that were reported from spam or are VPN links (and shared with many users) can trigger anti-spam. Or posting (many) links in a post - even accidental. So nothing evil with Netgate running (they ran pfsense.org long enough beforehand) but simple the internet being ... the internet.
