Lightsquid & AWS
-
For whatever reason, I am NOT able to get LightSquid to come up on my new AWS install.
So Far I have:
Opened the port 7445 on the incoming firewall to the machine (actually opened all traffic). And outbound allows all. I am able to access the pfsense web interface without an issue.
Restarted the server.
Restarted just the services.
Changed the Use SSL off and on.
Checked the service to make sure it was started. It looks like the connection times out. It says that the site can't be reached and the connection timed out. Is there something obvious that I am missing? I would think that I should be able to just click on the link in pfSense and get in. Or browse to the web address and get in that way. But neither seems to work.
Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Ok. So I got the system to work by disabling the firewall on pfsense itself. That led me to the firewall on pfSense and added 7445 on the actual server firewall. I just assumed that by enabling LightSquid it would have added that rule.
Thanks, and I hope that helps someone else having the issue.
