Captive portal does not "delete" expired user device
-
Hello everyone, I created a user with validity until September 27, the user connected with two devices and sailed until 26 to midnight as expected. The problem now is that the captive portal still shows the two mac addresses of the devices and the user name assigned as User Logged In and if you try to establish a new connection with these two devices instead of opening the page for entering new access data appears "You are connected" which is not true. Where am I wrong? Thank you

@ilarioQ hi
this is a known bug : https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8616
This issue is already fixed in the development version, and will be fully fixed in 2.5.0.
meanwhile, i advice you to read https://forum.netgate.com/topic/137824/pfsense-no-internet-when-it-is-said-you-are-connected/59 for possible mitigation/help...

@free4 many thanks!

@ilarioQ (my second link wasn't correct. I meant https://forum.netgate.com/topic/137824/pfsense-no-internet-when-it-is-said-you-are-connected/59 )

@free4 Thanks for the links, I'll delete the expired users by hand, waiting for the 2.5.

@free4 hello! I deleted the two devices from the captive portal, but in doing this operation the captive portal crashed.
On the main page the status widget of the captive portal appeared a message "failed load sock..." but I did not have time to read it completely.
Thanks -
@ilarioQ click on "disconnect all"
this will essentially reset your captive portal to a normal state

@free4 I disconnected everyone, stopped and restarted the captive portal. I had some users connected with the vouchers, some were reconnected and some were not. Thanks.
