      Greetings,

I have just setup a WAN failover on my pfSense 2.4.4 box. I'm trying to take advantage of the redundant WAN now by opening OpenVPN to it.

At the moment I have my OpenVPN clients connecting by hostname vpn.domain.com to my primary WAN Carp Address

I would like to utilize the second WAN connection to use the same hostname with a different IP address but also prioritize the primary WAN for OpenVPN connectivity. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

This is what I have had working for last year and some. I ran into a bug using ovpn and ipsec together that causes radius packets to become malformed. If you are not using radius logins across the vpn then all works great.
