      Hi Guys.

      I have a strange problem.

PFsense is mostly stable and working well.

But every now and then it just stops seeing the LAN network. Cannot ping , Haproxy does not pick up the servers behind it. Does not create any logs that I can find.

      I am running 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 with Haproxy 0.59_19.
      Running on a proxmox VM.

Only a reboot fixes the problem.

Most likely that is due to your hypervisor or some interaction with it. Have you disabled checksums for the network interfaces? Though normally that would cause intermittent loss/slowness, it's still worth checking for this.

disabled checksums for the network interfaces?

this would be under advanced - networking - Hardware Checksum Offloading?
is there another place to switch off as well?

No, just there. Though you might search around for other proxmox-specific advice.

I have disabled it now. Will keep an eye out to see if it keeps happening.
