I see the current version from OpenVPN is 3.1.0, but pfSense creates a client for 2.4.8. Is there any reason for the different version? Will there be any issues if 3.1.0 is installed in place of 2.4.8?

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
      UniFi AC-Lite access point

      I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

The OpenVPN Client Connect for Windows is the version recommended for the commercial OpenVPN Access Server.

        The community version is here:

@JKnott said in Windows client version:

Which is the current stable version from OpenVPN ;) OpenVPN connect client you refer is a) a beta and b) the client for the commercial RAS Server from OpenVPN Inc. as @Pippin already pointed out.

          Never tried it though.
