      hello,
      I am using squid with https splice all. option , client use the same lan network ip as dns …
      I get in random time this error:
      ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

      as I read https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/cache-proxy/squid-troubleshooting.html#sites-not-loading-with-splice-error-409-in-access-log

      I should use the pfsense dns as client dns and I already done that.
      so where is the problem ?

        I've been having the same problem ever since but I managed to make it work perfectly. Just be sure to set 127.0.0.1 as the first DNS server by unchecking the Disable DNS Forwarder in General Setup.

        That was the way I solved the same issue
