      Hello,

I have a basic squid proxy setup going. I do not have any issues with the exception of not being able to run speed tests from every speed test site I have tried.

      Some I have tried are:

      speakeasy.net
      speedtest.net
      speedtest.xfinity.com/

I usually get an error saying unable to connect or that something went wrong. If I disable the proxy, I have no issues.

I have disabled all blacklists and ACLs.

      Squid Access Table shows:

        Hi,

Proxies need end user programs - like browsers, mail programs, etc to be aware of them.

"speedtest-cli" is a simple tool, at least the one you can install on pfSense, isn't aware of proxies so it can't get out.

I advise you to carefully select two meaningful words like speedtest-cli proxy, feed them into your favourite web search engine, and then do what has been said here.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
