My initial aim was to load balance two broadband connections with a Linux server.  I found more than one post suggesting pfSense (in a VM if needed).  I was very happy to see the "cable/dsl router" style web interface.  So much easier than dealing with complex iptables scripts.

But I also had some advanced needs - I need to link up with FreeSWAN IPSec VPNs.  And PPTP dial-in was always something I wanted to offer, but it seemed like more of a pain than it was worth with FreeSWAN.

PFSense let me do all of it - EASILY!

Great work guys.  Keep up the fantastic work!
