      Hi Experts,

      I am currently using captive portal to allow my user to get access to internet by adding their MAC addresses.

      Now i need to configure users hotspot as well in parallel to captive portal. My purpose is that i may be able to add users in captive portal and can create any user through hot spot as well.

      please guide how can I implement that?

        Hi.

        Why should you even bother with "user hospots" when you use the Captive Portal ?
        What do you mean by ""user hospots" ?

        Experts will : disable everything in the Wifi AP (your hostspot ?) - so, NO wireless security … NO DHCP, no firewall (except maybe some rules to protect the AP itself).

        Edit : and where are the logs ??

          I mean to say that I just create some of the User with their login ID and password to get access to internet and I am using captive portal as well.

            @alirazafaisal:

            It's the other way around.
            If you want to control or limit "Internet" access, you enable the Captive Portal.
            Then you spread out user credentials like vouchers or login codes / passwords.
