      Hi Guys,

Trying to get VLANs working on a virtualized pfSense box (in Proxmox), but there seems to be something I am missing here.
Right now I have all my devices running untagged through the regular lan and this works great. My VLANs are setup and I am trying to connect my first device. It doesn't get an IP-address from the DHCP server and when set to static is unable to reach pfSense in any way. When I connect a second device and set a static IP, they are able to see each other.
It looks like I have misconfigured something on either pfSense or proxmox. Anybody able to help me out? I have included screenshots of my settings below. If you need anything else, just let me know.

      Thanks!
      Michel

      My config:
      proxmox network
      alt text
vmbr1 is linked to WAN in pfSense
vmbr2 is linked to LAN in pfSense

      pfSense VLANs

note - VLANs 10 and 20 are setup in the same way as 30, but are not in use yet.

      pfSense interface

      pfSense interface rules

I know this is in no way secure, but I wanted to make sure there was no rule blocking anything.

Unifi switch in use. Network settings in controller

All ports on the switch have been set to all.

Did you disable "Hardware Checksum Offloading" in pfSense?

Have enabled the DHCP server on the VLANs?

          Hi viragomann,

I didn't mention it before, but yes. I have been looking at proxmox and set it up so that my iot vlan gets its own bridge. This seems to work. I will investigate further tonight and update below.
          Thanks!
