FreeRadius service not restarting on pfsense 2.4.4

I am trying to use pfsense as the radius server for my network. I have installed the FreeRadius package and configured the pfsense box for radius authentication. The freeradius service just suddenly stops and wont restart. Also, i did a capture to see if traffic was being blocked anywhere, and could only see authentication requests coming to pfsense-radius, nothing going back to the client device. Can anyone help or provide a link to a configuration example using GUI netgate XG7100. Thanks in advance.

There is a way the see what really happens :
First, stop the FreeRadius server :
Use the console (SSH access), option 8, and type
radiusd -XEnjoy the details ;)

I am trying to authenticate Dell powerconnect switches. Do I need to install Vendor specific attributes onto my pfsense box for radius to work. I checked under "usr\local\share\freesradius" and did not see a dictionary file for dellpowerconnect. I only saw one for dellEmc.
Just wondering if this will work with Dell switches. -
Well, I guess you would able see why it stops.
If the Freeradius package has the same functionality as real stand alone radius server, that I can't tell.
