GTA V: UPnP properly configured, NAT type 'moderate' in game

Running pfSense at home, I've been unable to get NAT type 'open' from 'moderate' on GTA V. What should I do to go from moderate to open?
I have already reset the firewall state table and restarted the PC to no avail.

That's all you can do, it's as open as NAT can be.
If you want it more open than that move the PC you're playing from to have a pubic IP directly, remove NAT.

@stephenw10 Figured that would be the case. Upon testing with other games, I’m getting NAT type open on each one of them.
Odd to see quite a few claims of achieving NAT type open on GTA by merely enabling UPnP though…

Yes, I would have expected that to show open. I would think 99.9% of connecting clients are behind NAT.
You could try opening UPnP without any restrictions and see if that allows it. Then check to see what it's actually opening.
