Squid Update to 0.4.44_24

Since I updated Squid to the latest version 0.4.44_24 it has randomly started blocking certain applications from going out. Examples are Zwift training software and Assetto Corsa Competizione Racing Game. My current work around is to disable Squid. Any ideas on this?

start by reading your squid logs and white listing the sites getting blocked

I have similar problems -
@santi So I re-enabled Squid including Clam AV for Squid and now all is working, no changes. I see there is a update for Squid but too scared to run it as all is work at moment.

I also don't want to do the pending update of squid
