Donate to pfsense?
-
So there use to be a way to donate.. I have had recently people ask if they could send me money for help, I have logged in to their setups remotely, etc.. I am not here for that, and happy to help when I can - I just tell them to donate what they would give me to pfsense. But how can they do that? Should I just have them donate to freebsd? Not talking any serious money here, they want to buy me a beer or a coffee, etc.. $20 in the last example.. But while I appreciate the offer, the guys that deserve that beer or coffee more are the guys doing all the work that bring all of us such a great product. So where should stuff like this be directed? How can they/we/me donate to the cause - other than buying gold or tshirt/stickers/book/etc..

https://blog.pfsense.org/?p=1579 TL;DR: donate to the FreeBSD Foundation. I keep meaning to link to it on the get-involved page: https://pfsense.org/get-involved/ Thanks for all the help and for pointing people in the right directions!

I was asked the same, so here is the direct URL to donate via
 Paypal / Click & Pledge / Bitcoin / Check
 to the FreeBSD Foundation: https://www.freebsdfoundation.org/donate/-Rico

Is pfSense is not Open Source on {spam link removed}? Is this true?

It is. Why do you ask?

How can I help you? I would like to support the project. I have been extracting bitcoins for 5 years and can donate to you. But I don`t know exactly how this can be done. Can I make a donation through the site [link-removed] or you have your own way how to do it?

Please donate to the FreeBSD foundation as linked above if you wish to. Steve
