Hello i seem to be having an issue where my pfsense router will randomly kill connections for a few seconds 5-15. Then it will allow them as if nothing happened. All the firewall reports is time_wait:time_wait not sure what it could be... Let me know if you need more information.

      Thanks

Yes we would need some more information to help....atm we only know you have some connection problem.
But you could first work through https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/routing/connectivity-troubleshooting.html

Went through the link everything is correct. I have just updated the CPU because it could be lagging for short intervals. We will have to see how that goes.

TIME_WAIT:TIME_WAIT normally means as session was established and closed normally.
Is your problem totally random with any source or target host?
Tell us more about your hardware, configuration, additional pfSense packages you are running. Anything conspicuous in the logs?

Hello sorry for the delayed posting i just got back from a trip. I haven't noticed anything strange but i did decide i would change the ram. Something about the ram just kinda popped into my head when i was leaving. Not sure what it was but the issue is fixed and to answer your questions in order.

                  1. Totally random just on one target.
                  2. I built the system from parts on amazon revolving around this motherboard:
                    Jetway NF795

Let me know if you want a full spec sheet and i can give that.
